Job Description:
The data analytics specialist will apply advanced analytical techniques and machine learning models to HR and employee data, helping Omantel make informed, data driven decisions across the organization. Collaborate with HR business partners and senior leaders to provide actionable insights into employee behavior, talent management, performance, and engagement. Provide statistical modeling, data manipulation, and predictive analytics around people strategies, including workforce planning, talent acquisition, retention, and diversity & inclusion. will focus on delivering the vision of the department through process, development and lifecycle. Data Analytics specialist will work directly with stakeholders and team members to define, design and deliver actionable insights while working with ETL developers and BI developers in an agile environment. Lead or work with cross functional teams through originating, shaping and driving transformational strategies from inception through to people data analytics, automation and enriched data modelling reporting.
Key Responsibilities
Articulate automated data modelling and analytics behavior to best deliver strategic and tactical view of people and related organizational data
Formulates and recommends standards for achieving maximum performance and efficiency of the Data Warehouse ecosystem
Participates in the planning for retirement of programs, and policies around HR department
In depth understanding of database management systems, online analytical processing OLAP and ETL Extract, transform, load) framework
Affinity with Machine Learning, NLP, LLM, SLM and AI data models
Familiarity with BI technologies Microsoft Power BI, Oracle BI, Tableau, Grafana, etc.
Develop business cases and ROI for department to get buy in from senior management
Interview stakeholders and develop data analytics roadmap for success given project prioritization and budget
Evangelize self service data practice for people analytics and visual discovery while helping to change Excel manual data mapping based culture
Work closely with BI team to ensure prioritization of corporate and departmental objectives and projects
Champion data quality, integrity and reliability throughout the department by designing and promoting best practices
Aid BI team members with issues needing technical expertise or complex systems and or programming knowledge related to HR People data
Provide technical training to internal external team members to foster stronger cross departmental relations
E2E data modelling review of exiting platforms and propose generic solutions to handle the people analytics and reporting
Drive the HR department towards a greater level of digitalization

Requirements
8+ years of experience in data modelling, various data warehouse maintenance which includes database such as Oracle, Teradata, BIG data and Hadoop
Extensive knowledge in HR process and data models
5+ years of experience delivering business intelligence solutions
5+ years of experience with OLTP and OLAP database models
Apply machine learning algorithms to predict future talent needs and assist in talent acquisition strategies.
