Job Title Azure Architect
Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Azure Architect to join our team and lead the design and implementation of cloud solutions using Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Azure services, cloud architecture best practices, and experience in designing scalable and secure cloud environments. This role involves working closely with stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into robust, efficient, and scalable Azure solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Azure Cloud Architecture Design
Design and architect Azure based solutions, including compute, storage, networking, and security components.
Develop cloud migration strategies and roadmaps for transitioning on premises applications to Azure.
Ensure that architectural designs align with industry best practices, compliance, and security requirements.
Implementation and Deployment
Oversee the deployment of Azure resources and services, ensuring they meet the performance and availability requirements.
Collaborate with development and operations teams to implement CI CD pipelines and automate deployment processes.
Monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure performance and cost.
Technical Leadership and Support
Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams on Azure best practices and cloud technologies.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to Azure services and infrastructure.
Stay current with the latest Azure features and updates, and incorporate them into solution designs.
Stakeholder Collaboration Work with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements, translating them into effective Azure solutions.
Communicate technical concepts and solutions clearly to non technical stakeholders.
Provide recommendations for improving cloud infrastructure and application performance.
Documentation and Governance
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for architecture designs, deployment processes, and operational procedures.
Implement governance policies and controls to ensure compliance with organizational standards and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
Education
Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degree or certifications are a plus.
Experience
Proven experience as an Azure Architect or in a similar role, with a strong track record of designing and implementing Azure solutions.
Hands on experience with Azure services such as Azure Virtual Machines, Azure App Services, Azure SQL Database, Azure DevOps, and Azure Active Directory.
Experience with cloud migration, multi cloud environments, and hybrid cloud strategies.
Skills
In depth knowledge of Azure architecture and services.
Proficiency in scripting and automation using tools like Azure PowerShell, Azure CLI, and ARM templates.
Strong understanding of cloud security practices, networking, and compliance standards.
Excellent problem solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
Certifications
Microsoft Certified Azure Solutions Architect Expert preferred.
Other relevant Azure certifications are a plus.
