Job Summary:
Skilled Senior ETL Informatica Developer with extensive experience in the banking industry. The candidate should have strong expertise in ETL development using Informatica, along with a solid background in PLSQL and Oracle databases who will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining data integration solutions to support our business operations and analytics.
Key Responsibilities:
ETL Development: Design, develop, and optimize ETL processes using Informatica PowerCenter to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into target systems.
Data Integration: Collaborate with business analysts, data architects, and other business stakeholders to understand data requirements and ensure seamless data integration across multiple banking systems.
PLSQL Development: Write, optimize, and maintain complex PLSQL scripts and stored procedures for data processing, transformation, and reporting.
- Oracle Database Management: Manage, monitor, and tune Oracle databases to ensure high availability, performance, and security of data.
- Performance Tuning: Optimize ETL processes and SQL queries for better performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for ETL processes, data flows, and technical specifications.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including analysts, and business units, to deliver data-driven insights and solutions.
- Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve data integration issues, troubleshoot system errors, and provide ongoing support for production environments.

Qualifications:

- Education: Bachelors degree.
- Experience: Minimum of 7 years of experience in ETL development using Informatica PowerCenter, with a focus on the banking/financial services industry.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficient in Informatica PowerCenter, including mapping design, workflow management, and performance tuning.
- Strong experience with Oracle databases, including data modeling, SQL, and PLSQL development.
- Familiarity with data warehousing concepts, data modeling, and data lakes.
- Experience in performance tuning of ETL processes and SQL queries.
- Knowledge of Unix/Linux shell scripting is a plus.
- Understanding of data governance and data quality frameworks.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with changing priorities.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience with other ETL tools (e.g., Talend, DataStage) is a plus.
- Knowledge of Big Data technologies (e.g., Hadoop,) is an advantage.
- Understanding of banking regulations and compliance requirements.
