Description - Internal Domain Experience of 10+ Years across Group, Life and Annuities A graduate or postgraduate with a management consulting background. Leadership qualities, team player and ambassador for “go to market” offerings and solutions. Passion and skills for competency building and creating Center of Excellences. LIMRA or LOMA and/or CPCU certified professional. Hands on any one of the Insurance Core Packages- FinOS or Vitech or Majesco etc. The Insurance Subject Matter Expert (SME) will leverage their deep knowledge of the insurance industry to provide expertise and guidance on various aspects of insurance offerings, services, and operations. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, analysing insurance trends, and offering strategic insights to support decision-making and improve organizational effectiveness. Key Responsibilities: 1. Industry Expertise: o Deep understanding of Insurance industry including L&A, Group business o Provide expert knowledge on insurance products, policies, and regulations. o Stay current with industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies affecting the insurance sector. o Understanding on technologies like Gen AI, RPA, EA, Process and business rationalization etc. 2. Consultation and Support: o Serve as a key advisor to internal teams on insurance-related projects, pre-sales support and consulting offerings. o Offer guidance on layered architecture on insurance for L&A and Group business. o Address complex insurance queries and provide solutions to challenges. o Pre-sales, consulting and solutioning support 3. Analysis and Reporting: o Analyze insurance data and performance metrics to identify trends and opportunities for improvement. o Develop and present reports on insurance-related topics to senior management and stakeholders. 4. Training and Development: o Design and deliver training programs for staff on insurance offerings, compliance, and best practices. o Support the in terms of providing insurance-related training and resources. 5. Project Management: o Lead or participate in projects related to insurance projects including solutioning and offerings, process improvement, and regulatory compliance. o Coordinate with various departments to ensure alignment and successful implementation of insurance initiatives. 6. Client and Stakeholder Engagement: o Interact with internal and external stakeholders to understand key problem statement and provide solutions. o Participate in client meetings / analyst briefings and presentations to offer insights and solutions. 7. Alliances and Partnerships: o Understanding on key players (Core and non-core) within the insurance space and identify areas of partnerships o Drive the discussions with the prospective partners in order to drive business collaboration Qualifications: • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Insurance, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degree or professional certifications (e.g., CPCU, CII, AINS) preferred. • Experience: Minimum of [15] years of experience in the insurance industry, with a focus on [specific areas such as underwriting, claims, and other insurance business modules]. • Skills: o In-depth knowledge of insurance services, policies, and industry regulations. o Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. o Excellent communication and presentation abilities. o Proven ability to manage projects and work collaboratively with cross-functional team |
