Key Responsibilities:
Design and Development:
Develop and implement Business Service Management (BSM) solutions using OpenText tools such as OMi, SiteScope, BSM Dashboard, and Optics.
Configure event correlation, service modeling, and real-time dashboards.
Develop integrations between OpenText BSM tools and ITSM/CMDB solutions.
Monitoring & Automation:
Implement automated workflows to improve IT incident detection, response, and resolution.
Create and maintain synthetic and real-user monitoring configurations using OpenText tools.
Develop custom scripts and plugins for enhanced monitoring and reporting.
Incident & Performance Management:
Develop and configure event correlation and root cause analysis capabilities using OpenText OMi.
Improve the availability and performance monitoring of critical business services.
Work on application performance monitoring (APM) solutions.
Integration & Customization:
Integrate OpenText BSM tools with third-party platforms such as ITSM tools cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), and enterprise applications.
Develop APIs, connectors, and custom scripts for data flow and automation.
Collaboration & Support:
Collaborate with IT operations and business units to optimize OpenText BSM implementations.
Provide troubleshooting, debugging, and performance tuning support.
Ensure compliance with IT governance and security standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Technical Skills:
Strong experience with OpenText monitoring tools such as OMi, SiteScope, BSM Dashboard, and Optics.
Hands-on expertise in monitoring tools, event correlation, synthetic monitoring, and real-user monitoring (RUM).
Experience with scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, Shell, JavaScript) for automation and integration.
Knowledge of APIs, REST, SOAP, SNMP, and database queries.
Experience working with ITOM, CMDB, AIOps, and log analytics solutions.
Soft Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Ability to work in an agile and fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Certifications in OpenText monitoring tools or ITIL.
Experience with cloud monitoring solutions (AWS CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, Google Stackdriver).
Job Location & Work Environment:
