CSharp, VB .Net L3 (5-8) Years.
looking for a Senior Software Engineer to be part of a highly dynamic team developing our next generation Global Trade Management application suite. Our software developers typically have a broad range of backgrounds and experience levels, coming together to work as one highly motivated, dynamic technology team. Successful candidates will typically: Be passionate about software engineering. Measure success by delivering working software and end user satisfaction. Have a desire to reimagine our business for the customers benefit. Comfortable with ambiguity, and even use it to drive better ideas, work and success.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop software applications using best practices in coordination with a distributed team. Have an advanced understanding of software development methodologies and the demonstrated ability to design and develop complex software systems. Contribute to design choices where necessary. Contribute in all aspects of an Agile software development process including: design, programming, testing, documentation, quality assurance and implementation. Lead code reviews to enforce code standards and provide constructive feedback to developers. Mentor the technical resources on the team to reinforce best practice and develop the team members. Looks forward to leveraging innovation time to work on pet projects and special areas of interest.
Requirements:
5 to 7 years of experience developing software in different programming languages, and demonstrated ability to quickly learn new languages. Proficiency in .NET development (CSharp, VB.net) Proficient in developing front end applications with JavaScript, Angular and SQL. Proficiency developing/consuming REST APIs including tooling for documentation (Swagger/Postman) Proficiency in responsive web front end / single page application development using modular JavaScript (React.js, CSS3, HTML5) Experience in developing data persistence systems using both SQL and NoSQL DBMS. MSSQL, PostgreSQL, Dynamo Experience designing applications iteratively you will not receive a full spec upfront and will need to feel comfortable thinking things through, filling in the blanks, and iterating across sprints as we receive feedback and pivot based on customer feedback Working knowledge or past development experience leveraging the following technologies or competitive technologies is a plus: Angular Application Performance Management Kibana, Power BI, Tableau or Quick sight
