Job Responsibilities:
· Strong awareness and experience of SRE principles and practices.
· Experience with maintaining Infra and applications in AWS, Azure clouds and Kubernetes.
· Incident Resolution and Problem Management.
· Gather and analyze metrics from operating systems as well as applications to assist in performance tuning and fault finding.
· Partner with development teams to improve services through rigorous testing and release procedures.
· Participate in system design consulting, platform management, and capacity planning.
· Create sustainable systems and services through automation and uplifts.
· Balance feature development speed and reliability with well-defined service-level objectives
Required skills and qualifications:
Infrastructure: AWS,Azure
CICD: Jenkins, Git Bitbucket
Virtualization: Docker, Kubernetes
Observability: Grafana,Newrelic,ELK
Configuration Management: Ansible Chef
Scripting: Shell/Python scripting
Networking Concepts
Security Concepts
IAC: Terraform
Databases: MySql, Postgress
Tools Day to Day work: JIRA, Confluence, Rundeck, Control Next.
· Experience with technologies such as NFS, Amazon S3, as well as dynamic resource management frameworks (Apache Mesos, Kubernetes, Yarn).
· Strong knowledge of cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure or Google Cloud.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
· Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
· Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools, such as CI CD.
· Knowledge of networking concepts, such as IP addressing, DNS, DHCP, Load balancing etc.
· Develop and provide operational support for full stack software applications.
· Manage cloud and database system maintenance, debugging production issues as they raise strong hand on expertise on Kubernetes, containerization technologies.
· Monitor all alerts related to applications and provide proactive services.
· Proactive approach to identifying problems, performance bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.
