JD: Java, AWS, Automation
Lead the design, development, and maintenance of Java-based applications, ensuring they meet high standards of performance, scalability, and reliability.
Drive automation initiatives by developing automated testing frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and deployment processes.
Architect and implement robust CI/CD pipelines using automation tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or CircleCI, automating build, test, and deployment workflows.
Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Chef, to provision and manage cloud resources efficiently.
Establish automated testing strategies, including unit testing, integration testing, and end to end testing, to maintain the quality and stability of Java applications.
Champion the adoption of automation best practices across the organization, providing guidance and mentorship to team members on automation techniques and tools.
Collaborate closely with cross functional teams to gather requirements, define technical solutions, and implement features aligned with business objectives.
Utilize containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes to streamline deployment processes and enhance scalability.
Implement and maintain automated monitoring and alerting systems to ensure application performance and reliability, leveraging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK Stack.
Stay updated on emerging technologies, best practices, and industry trends related to automation, Java development, and DevOps practices, incorporating relevant advancements into our processes and workflows.
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
Extensive experience in Java development, with a strong command of Java EE or Spring Framework.
Proven track record in automation, with expertise in scripting languages like Python, Shell scripting, and automation frameworks.
Experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and automated testing frameworks.
Proficiency in automation tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Terraform, Ansible, or similar technologies.
Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes is advantageous.
Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail, with a focus on delivering high quality, automated solutions.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Certifications in relevant technologies or methodologies AWS Certified Developer, Certified Jenkins Engineer are a plus.
