Position Overview:
As the Manager, Internal Marketing and Corporate Communications for Virtusa Sri Lanka, you will be responsible for leading, developing, and executing comprehensive communication strategies that strengthen employee engagement, enhance the internal communications framework, and position Virtusa as an employer of choice. This role requires a dynamic leader who can leverage strategic communication to foster a cohesive organizational culture, amplify
leadership visibility, drive social media engagement, and uphold Virtusa’s brand identity within the IT industry. You will work collaboratively with Virtusa’s global communications teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment with corporate objectives and consistency in messaging.


Key Responsibilities:
1. Employee Engagement Initiatives
• Design and implement initiatives aimed at enriching the employee experience and fostering deeper engagement within the workplace.
• Drive high participation in employee engagement activities in collaboration with the HR department, creating an inclusive and motivating environment.
• Encourage active participation in employee events to build a strong sense of community and belonging across the organization.


2. Internal Communications Efficiency
• Optimize internal communications through targeted messaging strategies that achieve high reach and read rates.
• Streamline communication channels to enhance engagement and information flow across the organization.
• Lead and execute key projects supporting global corporate communication campaigns to reinforce Virtusa’s strategic priorities.


3. Leadership and Executive Positioning
• Elevate the profile of Virtusa Sri Lanka’s leadership by showcasing country heads and executive leaders in prominent media, industry events, and speaking engagements.
• Enhance leadership visibility through targeted internal communications and social media strategies to bolster influence and credibility.
• Cultivate relationships with academic and industry leaders to reinforce Virtusa’s reputation as an employer of choice within both professional and academic sectors.


4. Social Media and Brand Presence
• Strategically grow Virtusa Sri Lanka’s social media presence, enhancing reach and engagement with target audiences.
• Drive user-generated content (UGC) initiatives on Life at Virtusa social media platforms to showcase employee experiences authentically.
• Implement a robust content strategy to foster engagement and expand Virtusa’s digital footprint.

5. Budget Management and Optimization
• Efficiently manage and optimize communication budgets to maximize the impact of allocated funds, ensuring high-value outcomes.


6. Industry Networking and Employer Brand Advocacy

• Build and maintain industry connections to enhance Virtusa’s employer brand, aligning with strategic networking and visibility goals.
• Cultivate strategic relationships with industry associations, amplifying Virtusa’s presence and credibility within the IT and BPM sectors.


7. Event, Campaign, and Location Branding
• Lead local branding and marketing communications for events, campaigns, and global initiatives, aligning Virtusa Sri Lanka’s goals with the company’s broader strategic vision.
• Ensure cohesive, on-brand messaging across all communications to reinforceVirtusa’s market presence.


Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; Master’s degree or equivalent experience is a plus.
• 10+ years of experience in marketing, with a proven track record in strategy development and execution.
• Proven experience in corporate communications, internal communications, or marketing communications, ideally within the IT or technology sectors.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and drive engagement initiatives that create a positive impact on organizational culture.
• Strong understanding of social media strategy, content development, and audience engagement.
• Excellent relationship-building skills with internal stakeholders, industry bodies, and academic institutions.
