Virtusa’s vLife® Platform earns prestigious industry recognition
SOUTHBOROUGH, Mass. – (April 10, 2020) – Virtusa Corporation (NASDAQ GS:VRTU), a global provider of digital strategy, digital engineering, and IT services and solutions that help clients change and disrupt markets through innovation engineering, announced that its vLife® Platform was named a 2020 SIIA CODiE Award finalist in the Best Healthcare Technology Solution category. Finalists represent the best products, technologies, and services in software, information, and business technology.
Virtusa’s vLife® Platform is a large clinical data lake with APIs, microservices, pre-built artificial intelligence and machine learning models, visualization, and predictive tools available for client subscription. The data includes over one billion rows of public, synthetic, or acquired data from electronic health records, claims, clinical trials, government agencies, human genomes, and images. Its private and secure sandbox environment allows users to analyze private data and ideate and prototype custom solutions when building models to meet specific goals.
The SIIA CODiE Awards are the industry's only peer-recognized awards program. Business technology leaders, including senior executives, analysts, media, consultants, and investors, evaluate assigned products during the first-round review. Their scores determine the SIIA CODiE Award finalists, which accounts for 80% of the overall score. SIIA members then vote on the finalist products and the scores from both rounds are tabulated to select the winners.
“Virtusa’s cloud-based, data-driven vLife® platform accelerates the pace of innovation and streamlines operations in the healthcare and life sciences industries,” said Anthony Lange, SVP, healthcare and life sciences, Virtusa. “Vitusa’s vLife® Platform ranked as a finalist in the SIIA CODiE Awards in the Best Healthcare Technology Solution category reaffirms that our platform is working to address the data needs for life sciences and healthcare companies while helping lower the time and cost of development for novel solutions.”
“The 2020 CODiE Award finalists join a long and distinguished history of innovative products and services destined to transform the way we do business. We congratulate all of our finalists and look forward to seeing their impact across the B2B market for years to come,” said Jeff Joseph, president, SIIA.
The SIIA CODiE Awards are produced by the Software & Information Industry Association (SIIA), the principal trade association for the software, education, media, and digital content industries. Virtusa’s vLife® Platform was honored as one of 150 finalists across the 41 business technology categories. Business Technology category winners will be announced on May 18 during an online winner announcement ceremony.
